Swedish climate activist Greta Thunburg was arrested this tuesday following her sit-in in a German village whose homes are to be destroyed and inhabitants to be relocated in order to expand a coal mine only allowed to exist due to its' companies promise to stop usage by 2030. However, should the energy company RWE keep to this promise, there is already enough coal in Germany alone to utilize until this shut-down date, making climate activists view this relocation of people and expansion of the mine as unneccesary.
