According to Omelchenko (Ukrainian ambassador to France), roughly 321 tanks will be sent to aid Ukraine in its next phase of war with Russia. While it was not specified which countries are providing the tanks, it is confirmed that the US is sending 31 M1 Abrams and Germany is sending 14 Leopard 2's - after months of Germany postponing their decision. As for other Western allies, Poland is waiting for Germany's permission to send their Leopard 2's. Russian ally, North Korea, has since accused the United States (and its allies) of "crossing the red line" by sending their tanks to Ukraine; North Korea confirms that it will "always stand in the same trench" as Russia as Ukrainian allies are in "total disregard of Russia's concern about security."
