China? Seriously? Again?

From Becky Bonarek: Scandal after scandal involving Chinese merchandise, and they still can't seem to regulate their consumable products. First it was milk, then eggs, now it's fish food. Hong Kong has found more melamine, "a chemical used to make plastic and fertilizer," in fish food imported from China. November is the third month that Chinese exports have been in the news, despite that government's attempts at containing the scandals. They have sent food inspectors all over the country, but the tainted food is still making its way to export countries. While officials say fish who may have consumed tainted food are safe for human consumption, they also claim that rogue food and feed dealers spiked the supplies, so take that assurance as you will. And if you think this melamine scandal isn't affecting the United States, just wait: remember the giant pet food recall last year? The food was tainted with melamine from... wait for it... China. No countries that trade with China are immune quite yet.
