Obama not only wins American’s heart, but also the people around the world

Just before the Presidential election, it was interesting enough to see a survey of who will be the next president of the United States on the front page of Taiwan Yahoo searching engine. The result was “86%” goes to Obama, and only 10 something percent goes to McCain. I would say I never get involved in any past US presidential election but this one. I also read a news in Chinese mentioned that the world expecting a new American leader like Obama which not as “arrogant” as the past presidents.

I read some articles about the world’s opinions about Obama- our new president. In the article, “World Welcomes Obama’s Win” mentions the welcome messages to Obama from London, Germany, and France. Also I have heard European countries love Obama. The other article, “South Asia hails Obama’s Victory” indicates Pakistan, Afghanistan, and India also welcome Obama. “In Afghanistan, President Hamid Karzai applauded the American People “”for their great decision”” as the article mentions. “ “Asia Offers Obama a warm Welcome” mentions Australian prime minister’s hope that Obama’s victory would help “solve pressing global problems was shared by other leaders in the Asia-Pacific region.” The South Korea issued a statement mentioned about Obama’s vision of change and hope, and China’s President said this was a “new period f history.”

I do think both Obama and McCain did a tremendous job for this presidential election. On Tuesday night, I watched both speeches from McCain and Obama, and they both are great. I was very impressed by both Obama and McCain. McCain gave a genuine speech, and at the moment, he was extremely friendly which is totally different from the debate side of him. I really like Obama’s speech that he will always bring the audiences into his speech, and as he said, “it’s our victory” and “Yes, we can change.” I am also very curious how Obama will lead American to a new direction, or maybe it will be the same as the old days…
