Chrysler has announced that it wants to close 789 dealerships around the country by June 9th. This shows how the auto industry is continuing to take a hit by the economic decline. The reason for the closures is because the company is dealing with too much competition between stores. The closure of these dealerships means more people will be out of work and experience further complications in this difficult time. Chrysler is joining Ford and General Motors, which are other companies experiencing difficulty.
