A major city in Iraq, Mosul, is still having problems with high profile attacks. A tactic that insurgents use in Mosul is to use women as suicide bombers. US troops are set to withdraw from this city on June 30. Because US military pushed insurgents out of southern cities of Iraq and into Mosul, there is increased activity of violence. According to the top US commander in Iraq, the problems could be taken care of within 30-45 days and the Iraqi forces can take over after that. US is slowly withdrawing military from Mosul and putting it in the hands of Iraqi forces to see if they are capable of taking care of everything by themselves. In April the most deadliest attacks occurred in a year, killing five US soldiers. This shows that improvements are being made in the major cities of Iraq.
