Just one day before the 3rd anniversary of the
Egyptian Revolution, 3 bombings in Cairo that was claimed by the current
government to be done by the opposition, the Muslim Brotherhood, who was
declared by the same government as a terrorist group. While one of the
buildings where these bombings happened was a head quarter for the security
police. Fortunately the security cameras that’s located at the building, The
Islamic Museum, in front of it captured the whole situation of two security
officers barking a car in front of such building, that no one during a normal
day will be able to do so because of the importance of such building, and
entered the Security Headquarter building when the explosion were coming from
such car after just 2 minutes. That’s what led one of the retired officers at
the Al-Jazeera to claim that that it was done by the intelligent agencies. Just
like what happened only 24 days before the revolution on 2011 when they made an
explosion at the Cathedral Church on Alexandria during the New Year’s Eve. The
intelligent agencies were trying to divide the people and do horrible events to
be as an excuse for the massacres they are planning to do. While on the third
anniversary itself, some are celebrating a military role, others are
demonstrating against a new military role for the country. Thousands are
celebrating at Tahrir Square, the revolutionary icon in downtown Cairo, there
were vendors who were selling posters for Gen Sisi and there were also military
helicopters flew low gifting flags to those celebrating. While only a few miles
away some others were gifted bullets and tear gas, killing at least 16 people
and more than 430 were arrested only in Great Cairo area. While the slogan of
the day that was held by the government, If you celebrate you will be gifted,
while if you demonstrate you will be killed.
