The U.S secretary of state John Kerry said that Iran has to abide to the communique' of Geneva back in 2012 which sums up the Agenda to follow for future negociations on Syria. But the U.N secretary, Ban ki Moon assured that Iran has promised to cooperate for a better result. Ban Ki Moon says:
“Foreign Minister Zarif and I agreed that the goal of the negotiations is to establish by mutual consent a transitional governing body with full executive powers,” he added. “It was on that basis that Foreign Minister Zarif pledged that Iran would play a positive and constructive role in Montreux.”
If Iran keep its word the peace talks are expected to be a breakthrough in the Syrian crisis.
