Iran is stating that for the first time in history for Iran, the navy has sent warships to the Atlantic Ocean. No statement of what the mission of these warships are but it has been said that the mission these warships are on will last about 3 months. Although they are not saying why all the sudden they are sending these warships to the Atlantic, part of this mission is having abroad 30 cadets getting trained. This should raise a big question for Europe but also United States that all sudden after so much time, Iran is starting to move out west. And even though they don't have a specific explanation of what the warship mission is, Iran moving west should be a huge concern that they are showing themselves as being a threat not only in the Middle East but also in other parts of the world and trying to show they are able to be navy strong as well. The only statement being presented for their warships is that they are being deployed off Africa's coast to be able to fight pirates and to keep travel of commercial ships safe.
