On Saturday new conflicts between Palestinians in Gaza and Israelis took place again, as an Israeli warplane killed two Palestinians who were in one of the tunnels that connect Gaza with Egypt. According to the Israelis, Palestinians use these tunnels to pass weapons to Gaza close to a town called Rafah, on the border with Egypt, and this was an accident as the main goal was to block the tunnels “after a rocket fired from Gaza struck inside Israel” on Friday even though it did not kill anyone. These were the first lost men of either both sides of the conflict since March “when an Israeli missile killed a Palestinian militant who Israel said was preparing to launch a rocket.”
