Asean summit opens amid Thailand-Cambodia border row

The leaders from ten member countries of Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN)are for annual summit in Jakarta, Indonesia. The summit which normally emphasizes on trade issues in these regions. But, the fight that broke out between Thailand and Cambodia on their borders is likely to make the meeting complicated. This is one way this group of countries to show to the world a sense of unity. In addition to the clash border clash, Burma's bid for chairmanship in the year 2014 has drawn many criticisms from human rights groups.
