This is the article I was talking about in class. Since we are reading the Bottom Billion, I thought this article was extremely relevant. Kofi Annan makes statements about what Africa needs to do in order to stay competitive. The article talks about Africa changing its focus and how it can diversify to help itself out of poverty.
