A pipeline that carries natural gas to Israel and Jordan from Egypt exploded Wednesday. According to Israeli Infrastructure Minister Uzi Landau, the gas that is remaining in the pipeline will last only a few more days, and an immediate solution will be needed. The cause of the explosion is not yet known. In February, a gas pipeline in El Arish that sent natural gas to Jordan was set on fire. That incident was a suspected terrorist attack. It is still unsure if the two incidents are related, or if the latter was also a terrorist attack.
