Council Elections in Northern Ireland

Council Elections in Northern Ireland are underway in Belfast. With the big two parties, Democratic Unionist Party and Sinn Fein taking the charge. There were a few notable outcomes. Out of Belfast South, Anna Lo is the first canidate of chinese descent to return to the election. Sinn Fein destroyed the polls in Belfast west with their five candidates. There were lots of successes on both sides
