27 headless bodies, 25 male, 2 female have been found at a ranch in Guatemala. Police are pointing the finger at drug cartels, blaming gang rivalries. Police say this is the largest massacre they have seen in decades. Mexican, Guatemalan, and International police forces are in the air and on the ground searching for suspect and increased security at the borders.
The victims appear to have been ambushed at gun point. Officials believe this is the work of the Zeta gang, possibly in relation to the killing of Haraldo Leon earlier on Saturday. All this comes just a few months after the Guatemalan government ceased attacks on Zeta territory, Alta Verapaz.
