Al-Shabab attack hotel in Somalia

It seems as though terrorist will not halt their attacks. In Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia, 15 people were killed from bombs set off by criminals of the Al- Shabab. Not only has Somalia been affected by these disastrous activities, but also Kenya, where nearly 150 students were killed in a university. It is difficult to determine what these terrorist groups are trying to achieve, when they harm innocent civilians. Among those killed was an MP and a general who assisted in the eradication of Al-Shabab in 2011. One can't be clear if this was an act of revenge, however, one of the Al-Shabab spokesperson declared "The mujahedeen fighters took control of the Sahafi hotel, where apostates and invading Christians were staying". On the other hand, the article declares that Al- Shabab are far from accepting defeat, resulting from their major loss in 2011. One can't tell what is to come from them, but as President Muhamud stated, the terrorist group should surrender.
