Mikhail Lesin, a former aide to Russian President Vladimir Putin, was found dead in Washington DC.
The article talks about how a US Senator had called for an investigation into Lesin's assets last year because he had bought a large property for his family costing him $28 million dollars. The US Senator had reason to believe that Lesin was getting him money from elsewhere because he was only a Russian civil servant and they don't get that kind of money from just their job.
