On November 6, 2022 a Tanzania aircraft crashed due to bad weather. The Prime Minister, said officials believe all bodies from the crash have been recovered. A total of 19 bodies were presumed dead. The rest are in the process of being rescued or have already been rescued. It is believed that the crash had happened on the final approach to the runway, as it is right next to Lake Victoria, the crash site. Lake Victoria is Africa's largest freshwater lake. Tanzania's president is urging the community to stay calm but sends all condolences to the families and individuals effected.
