Pakistan's ex-prime minister got shot in the leg while holding a protest. Some are saying that this was an assassination attempt. One person was killed, and others were injured after the shooting. This reminded me of the shooting of Archduke Franz Fernandez and how it led to the start of a WW1. The government was accused but denied any connection to the shooting, and the current prime minister ordered an investigation to investigate what happened and the motive behind it. The exciting thing is that the former prime minister was assassinated at a public rally in 2007, which says that this shooting was more than likely planned to target the ex-PM.
