How the Georgia Senate runoff will work

It has been announced that Warnock and Herschel, who were both running for the Georgia Senate, will have to face each other once more in a runoff. Since neither candidate was able to reach the 50% requirement,  voters will have to once again vote on December 6th. This election is especially important because as the article state "Depending on the outcome of Senate races in Arizona and Nevada, voters in Georgia could then – for the second consecutive election cycle – have the Senate majority in their hands" (LeBlanc).
