The COP27 meeting is happening right now in Egypt, which shined some light on Egypt's political prisoner Alaa Abdel Fattah. The UN human rights chief, has called on Egypt to immediately release him. The UK primine minister Rishi Sunak has spoken to the president of Egypt, Elsese, and he wanted to issue resolved as soon as possible. I'm sure that Alaa will be released soon since there are international pressure and many people asking about the reason behind his being in prison. Alaa has gone on a strike as well as his family, which makes things more complicated as he is a British citizen if he dies in Prison in Egypt that could bring many complications for Egypt and get the International criminal court involved.
