Germany Can Afford to Spurn China

In the article, Germany Can Afford to Spurn China, the author brings up how China and Germany are trade partners. How in the event that China invades Taiwan that Germanys allyship would possibly be questionable. The article talks about how Germany has room to move around in the global market and that they are not as reliant on China as one may think. Germany would still take pretty heavy economic losses but the article talks about how these losses would be comparable to how things have already been going. This was an interesting article that looked at an ally to the U.S. and how that allies economic dealings can possibly affect the allyship. How Germany and China will act in the future it will be interesting to watch.
