Absence of Chinese Vice President

Chinese vice president Xi Jinping has disappeared. For 10 days he has not showed up for his public hearings with the domestic news media.  The Chinese government experiences a power transition every 10 years, and Xi Jinping is said to succeed over current president Hu Jintao next month. His official presidency will start next year.
It is very uncertain what is happening with the Chinese leadership because of this sudden disappearance. His absence began early in September when he canceled meetings with the Lee Hsien Long, the Singaporean prime minister and Hilary Clinton. The absence from such meetings with foreign affairs continues to add a huge question about his whereabouts and future plans for the Chinese society. There have been a mass number of rumors and gossip about Xi's absence all over the internet, and still there is no sight of him. Has he had health problems, or stroke? There is news that he has been sick, but what he has is still questionable among the people, and information about the leader's conditions can only be known by people at the highest levels.  This gossip is still unanswered.  The big question is who are the next generation of Chinese leaders?
