U.S. warns of rising threat of violence amid outrage over anti-Islam video
There have been several riots recently in response to a 14 minute video trailer of a movie that shows a religious figure as a very bad person. There have been riots in Yemen, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Palestine, Israel, Iraq, and Iranians in Tehran. These riots have totaled many thousands of protesters, and has resulting in several injuries, including 24 security force members in Yemen. Also, 4 protesters died in the riot in Yemen. it's possible these riots could become even worse after the weekly prayer session on Fridays in the Middle East, when large groups of Muslims will congregate and possibly riot.
The killers of 4 Americans in Libya are being hunted down by Libyan officials, with a few suspects already in custody. In response to the violence, 50 US marines arrived in the country on Wednesday.
The creator of the video goes by many fake names, including Sam Bassiel. Currently, it is believed the man's real name is Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, which in my opinion sounds just as fake as Barney. In 2009 he was convicted of fraud, so he's already proven himself to be a low life. Now he's famous for his lousy actions.
