Egypt security HQ in Sinai hit by militants

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-19616644

I guess I am following the rest in making a blog on what is going on in the middle-east right now.  Most recently there have been insurgents that have attacked a security HQ, killing 16 Egyptian soldiers and one police officer.  This was done due to increased violence in the city of al-Arish, the closest neighboring city of the security HQ.  The increased violence against Egyptian soldiers as well will have people looking for a connection with the controversial film that has enraged Muslims everywhere; however, there have been no connections found at the moment.  However, it is in my personal opinion that if there is a connection to the film that Egypt will finally take a stand against the riots due to the violence escalated to rocket-propelled grenades against their own country, even though they have not necessarily sided with the US but have not condemned the riots as well.
