Dan Hunt, an extreme athlete that enjoys speed flying, went missing during a flying session with his friends. Speed flying is when someone jumps off a high cliff or mountain and use a type of parachute to quickly fly down a steep cliff to the bottom. He didn't show up at the usual place they all meet at the end of their flying session in the Swiss Alps. Worried friends quickly raised the alarm and rescuers were quick to start looking for him. Friends set up a facebook page to bring awareness to their missing pal, and people responded by raising money to help fund Hunt's rescue mission. Almost 70 hours after he went missing, he was found at the bottom of a gorge, alive and incredibly uninjured. He had used sticks to make an SOS sign so people could find him, and he was rushed to the hospital for medical checks after being rescued. He is safe and thrilled to be alive.
