Burmese (Myanmar) political figures' trip to U.S. could see a turning point of the nation

It would be hard to imagine it two years back, but two important Burmese political leaders are set to visit U.S. upcoming weeks. One of them is Ms. Aung San Suu Kyi who will arrive U.S. today, and spend over two weeks. Moreover, Burmese President Thein Sein is scheduled to attend UN General Assembly meetings in New York probably at the end of this month. Ms. Suu Kyi has planned to meet with Burmese people in the U.S., and receive the Congressional Gold Metal, which is the highest of the U.S. Congress' civilian awards. She will probably meet with President Obama during her visit. A analyst predicts that the U.S. may relax more imports ban that was set on Burma through the duration of their trip. This is also a perfect time for the U.S. to suggest more reforms in Burma. Ms. Suu Kyi has been an very influential person within past decades; therefore, she might cloak the presence of President Thein Sein. On the other hand, the opportunity of President Thein Sein to meet with world leaders is very precious in terms of ways to well-connect the nation with the world again. The analysts predict that their visits are highly likely to bring crucial changes back to the country.
