Pakistan Taliban extend cease-fire, demand prisoner release

On Friday, The Pakistani Taliban (also know as the TTP) has issued A cease-fire deadline extension until April 10th. This decision came after a meeting with the government officials of Pakistan. The government has released 19 TTP Prisoners. The Pakistani Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, has agreed to this in hopes that it will create peace between the two parties. Sharif has been under pressure to create peace in Pakistan so these demands were a must, to be met. TTP spokesman Shahidullah Shahid told CNN that the meeting was held in a progressive sense,  with both sides wanting the best outcome. He went on to say the ultimate decision was agreed upon for both sides to release all prisoners. It seems relations between the two are at a positive progression, only time will tell where relations ultimately end up.
