In Seoul, South Korea over 150 people died as a result of a stampede during Halloween festivities. This is the first Halloween weekend in three years that hasn't had Covid restrictions so there was a crowd of over 100,000 people in the nightlife area. A large number of people crowded a narrow alleyway which caused these tragedies to occur. The President has declared a state of official mourning. I hope there are precautions put in place so future events don't end as badly as this one.
