On Tuesday October 4th, at least 4 people were killed in an avalanche in the Indian Himalayas. 28 people are still missing and rescue missions are ongoing, assisted by the Indian Air Force as well as state and national disaster response forces. A group of 41 people in total was training on Mount Draupadi ka Danda II and returning from the 18,898 ft tall peak when the avalanche hit.
