Two Russians sail to Alaska seeking asylum in US

Two Russian men have been detained by US officials after arriving in town in St Lawrence island Alaska. The Russo-Ukraine war caused several complications among its citizens. Many men from Russia do not want to get drafted for the war. They have thus been seen fleeing the country in numerous events. The two men serve as a common example of how the war between Russia and Ukraine can spark an increase in the number of refugees and immigrants. Most individuals from Russia have fled and landed in neighboring countries like Kazakhstan, Georgia, and Finland. Alaska Senator Dan Sullivan made statements about how Russian people don't want to fight Putin's war of aggression against Ukraine. The senator also states the underlying fact that Alaska requires more security posture in America's Arctic.
