Rory Mason, age 23, from Dunboyne in County Meath, was killed while fighting for Ukraine's International legion near the Russian border. Although saddened of his death, his family is still very proud of the man Rory was. Rory is described as a man of dignity and honor who's selflessness drove him to be greater than what he himself stood for. The Irish Department of Foreign Affairs is aware of Rory's death but is unable to comment on any individual case.
