Putin accuses Ukraine of terrorism

Vladimir Putin has just claimed that Ukraine has performed an act of terrorism after a bridge leading to Crimea, which Russia annexed. The explosions killed three people in a nearby car. Putin claims that this act was considered an act of terrorism due to how important Crimea is to the Russian civil infrastructure. This bridge, known as the Kerch Strait Bridge, directly connects Russia to Crimea, and the destruction of this bridge creates problems for travel between the two states. It is likely that this anger is mainly due to the fact that one of the significant uses of this bridge is the transportation of Russian military equipment, ammunition, and soldiers. Russian official Alexander Bastrykin claims that there is evidence that the attack was carried out by Russian citizens, likely with help from some other states. The truck that was blown up had reportedly been traveling through Bulgaria, Georgia, Armenia, North Ossetia, and Krasnodar Territory prior to the attack. Putin has been reported saying "only one terrorist state here" and that the "whole world knows who it is". These are clearly directed at Ukraine. Since the attack, the bridge has been worked on and is now partially functional.
