In celebration of Switzerland's 175th anniversary of the country's first railway system, the Swiss rail industry came together to create the world's longest-ever passenger train. This train consists of 100 cars, 2,990 tonnes and is 2 kilometers long. Switzerland's railway system is well known for its beauty and efficiency. There are high hopes for a successful run regarding this project.
