U.S. Signals Pause in Middle East Peace Talks

U.S.’s Secretary of State and President Obama will review their foreign policies in particular related to the Middle East. For several years now, the U.S. has tried to mediate peace talks between Israel and the Palestine. An agreement between the two countries would represent a crucial factor in maintaining stability in the Middle East. The White House has to step down and analyze whether the costs in the Middle East are generating any results. In the present moment, the U.S. is facing many other issues related to foreign policy. Syria’s civil war, Iran’s nuclear issue and the annexation of the Crimea region are all major IR issues to which the U.S. is expected to respond to.
