Colombia peace vote: FARC to pay reparations to war victims

On Monday, Colombian polls open up following the peace agreement made between the Colombian government and the rebel group known as FARC, and will pose a referendum that will ask "Do you support the final accord to end the conflict and build a stable and lasting peace?".  If only 13% of the vote swing "yes" then Colombia will officially close a brutal 52 year old war.  A new development in the story, however, is that the Marxist rebels have apologized to all victims of the war and have agreed to pay reparations for damage done.  The group will also surrender all weapons, and, if they confess to war crimes, will serve no jail time in favor of "effective restrictions of liberty".
