Syria's airstrikes threatening underground schools

Save the Children released a statement on Friday, telling that the lives of children in underground schools are now threatened by bunker-busting bombs that are deigned to target underground structure. 8 out of 13 schools in the northern Syrian city of Aleppo were built underground for safety reasons. Even though a ceasefire between the Syrian government (led by President Bashar al-Assad) and opposition forces, took effect on September 12th, soon the government launched airstrikes against eastern Aleppo, and the city and children were again under severe attacks. Reports show that about 100,000 children aged from 5 to 17 are taken away of education as the conflict continues.
