The Libyan Parliament voted to oust Prime Minister Abu Shagour. This shift comes at a strange time because only he had the actual power to form an investigation to find out what happened at the American Embassy and control the militias that have taken control of the streets. Others have the power to do so in title but no actual power to enforce the orders. No suspects have been questioned or detained, and the Obama administration has had an intense strain put on it because it needs to decide whether or not to take unilateral military action. This is a concern because it could upset the only Arab nation that views the United States in a positive light. Benghazi is not the only problem facing Libya. The country is still dealing with towns that refuse to recognize the central government. The country is now facing a power vacuum. They need to elect a new Prime Minister but the question is where is he going to come from.
