The Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) are making a peace plan with the Philippine president. This was just a first step in peace between these two groups. Many violent outbursts have been made with these rebels over the past 40 years. This is only the beginning because the plan will not begin to take effect until 2016 or when the term of the current president ends. There have been many attempts at peace for the past 15 years but they have all ended in violence.
