Nigerian army kills dozens of 'terrorists'

Nigerian soldiers were in a gun battle with 30 "suspected terrorist" believed to be part of the Boko Haram.  This battle took place in northeastern Yobe state.  Troops from the Nigeria Joint Task Force began the raid in a search and cordon operation.  Lost of equipment such as 6 rifles, 90 rounds of ammunition, knives, telephone sets, bows arrows, daggers and explosive devices were found.  These terrorist fighters are being blamed for 1,400 deaths in Nigeria since 2010.  Last month 35 members of the Boko Haram were also killed during a fierce gun battle and 60 people were arrested during that month as suspected members of the terrorist group.  Nigeria is slowly but effectively killing and arresting these terrorist.
