Strange Beauty Treatment Kills Woman

http://www.cnn.com/2012/10/10/world/asia/hong-kong-beauty-treatment-death/index.html?hpt=wo_c2

Four women in Hong Kong went to the DR beauty center for a bizarre beauty treatment that involves DC-CIK therapy. This procedure removes some blood from the person, concentrates it and "processes" it, then puts the blood back into the person. This procedure is usually used for cancer patients, and even for that purpose it isn't highly recommended. How it functions to enhance beauty is still unclear.

One of the four women who got this procedure last week has died from septic shock as a result of the DC-CIK. Two of the women are in critical condition and the fourth is currently stable.

The DR beauty center claims they didn't do this procedure, that they simply referred the women to a private doctor who administered the process.
