A recent attack in Cameron, with suspected linkage to Boko
Haram, has pushed African leader to launch a “total war” on Boko Haram. There
was a summit on Saturday in Paris and leaders feel that Boko Haram is not only
a treat to Nigeria but also to the rest of West and Central Africa. French
President Francois Hollande is encouraging for an immediate effect of
comprehensive plan to exchange information, coordinate action, and protect
borders. I think this is something that should have taken place from the very
beginning. It is so upsetting that the Nigerian government has waited this long
to even consider such things. The girls are still missing and Boko Haram is
still threatening of selling the girls into slavery if the government is not
willing to exchange girls’ lives for jailed rebels
