South Korea To Disband Coast Guard, Leader Vows

President Park Geun-hye has vowed to get rid of the South Korean coast guard. This comes after a ferry disaster that left many people dead. Over 250 people passed away in the disaster and 18 people are still missing. The coast guard failed to save this disaster, rather failing disastrously. Many people have been upset with the coast guards attempt to save lives. She is attempting to disband the coast guard and build from the ground up. She wants to find an effective way to resolve accidents. This was one of the biggest peace-times disaster in South Korea's history.
