No Signs of Slowing Down In Ukraine

Neither the Russian or Ukrainian side are showing no signs in reaching peace with one another. Reports show the Ukraine minister has stated “We are not stopping”. The Russian separatist leader Luhansk has announced the formation of an army in the coming future. These statements and plans only make matters in Ukraine potentially more violent.

There has been one bright spot however, on Saturday, the defense ministry released seven international observers and five Ukrainians. Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk stated the only way to save Ukraine is peace and reconciliation. Then, and only then, does Yatsenyuk believe Ukraine can flourish.

The horrid truth however is that the situation has no signs of peacefulness other than the release of captives. On the same note there has been many signs of an escalation. For instance a CNN team recently reported seeing troop carriers moving toward the city center.
