Israel is planing on building 3,736 new units in Jewish settlements in the occupied West Bank. The units are going to be inside the area that Palestine wants to create their own state. This goes against Trumps campaign speeches to regain peace in the area, yet there has been nothing said by the White House or Trump against Israels actions. Palestine has called this action illegal and views it as a way to displace Palestine. Netanyahu has repeatedly vowed this year that he will not remove a single Jewish settlement from the West Bank. This is going to cause more inconsistency in the area and lead away from peace.
