Rally in Barcelona

On Sunday, October 8, over 300,000 people rallied in Barcelona to protest Catalonian Independence. After the voting for Independence in Catalonia, many people began protesting. However, the rally in Barcelona had the biggest turn out. During this "election", over 900 people were injured by police and 33 officers were hurt as well. The former government minister Josep Borrell showed up at the rally. Many people were chanting that Catalonia was Spain too and they overall shouldn't be declaring independence. It shouldn't be fair that the wealthy part of Spain should get the option to separate themselves from the country because they can sustain themselves. For the meantime there are officers surrounding Catalonia. Business have began to pull out from the area and people are upset waiting to hear what is going to happen. The leader of Catalonia is expected to speak on Tuesday regarding the regional parliament.
