Kenya bans protests in some cities

Kenya has had a series of protests after incumbent president, Uhuru Kenyatta, was declared the winner of the election that took place on August 8th. Their Supreme Court annulled the vote and demanded that there be a rerun of the polls, but the opposition dropped out of the run because he believed that no one met his demands. The opposition wanted there to be a change of electoral officials at the pools but no one did anything about it. The parliament passed an election law amendment that states once someone withdraws from the rerun vote, the remaining candidate is the official winner of the rerun. The opposition legislators boycotted this vote, and rallies have been banned in Nairobi, Mombasa, and Kisumu.
