In this article by The Washington Post, the author is explaining and giving evidence on how the US is causing problems in the Middle East. For example Rex Tillerson apparently told rebel leaders to take their troops and go home. The leader of that group came out in response to that statement and told the United States that they are the ones that should go home once the Islamic State is gone. If the US stays in the Middle East tensions might go back to the "proxy wars" between the rebels and the US.
