Turkey Backs Syrian Rebels

Article: http://www.cnn.com/2017/10/07/middleeast/turkey-syria-fsa-military-operation-idlib/index.html

The Turkish President announced a new operation to assist Syrian Rebels in the Idlib province of Syria near the Turkish border. The aim of this operation is to prevent an al Qaeda splinter group from creating a "terrorist corridor" on the Turkish border.  Free Syrian Army (FSA) will be crossing the border into the region from Turkey, along with supplying air support from inside Turkey.  The Turkish army will be joining the operation in later phases with tanks actively waiting on the border, while portions of the border wall are being removed.  The article talks about the creation of four "de-escalation" zones, with the Idlib region being secured by Turkey with Russia.  This is however an issue with FSA refusing Russian participation
