Tensions with North Korea have been on the rise for quite some time now. Until recently Trump has been dissatisfied with China's unwillingness to do anything about their North Korean neighbors. Lately it seems that President Xi Jinping has improved his relations with the U.S. and recognizes the extreme dangers posed by Kim Jung Un. Trump has stated that China has been working with the administration and that "you would be shocked to see how totally prepared we are if we need to be, would it be nice not to do that? The answer is yes." Until now China has been somewhat reluctant to do anything that would potentially anger North Korea. It's nice to see that they might finally understand their significant role in keeping the country at bay.
